theholyidiot
I don't see why all you people are worried about 2D or 3D. I think the obvious questions here are "Who didn't like Grim Fandango? :meche:" and "Even if you thought it was an inferior sequel, wasn't Monkey Island 4 one of the best games of the last few years? :guybrush:" All I have to say about Full Trottle 2 is... IT BETTER BE A F***ING ADVENTURE GAME!!!!! I loved Indy and the Fate of Atlantis , but when they made the transition in "Infernal Machine," I didn't manage to finish it. I've never been good at twitch shooters, and I've always been able to use my brain to get through my favorite games. LucasArts has always been my bastion of hope for the adventure gaming future (though "Gilbert Goodmate" looked promising a couple of years ago...). If I find that they have thrown away the roots of their gaming company, I'll have to take refuge in Monkey Island , Full Throttle, The Dig , and Sam and Max . Though these are my favorite games of all time, I have played them so much that I can recite every line from them from memory, without a computer anywhere near me. I love all the classic adventures, but GIVE US SOMETHING NEW!!!!! Lament for the old adventures. If FT2 isn't one, I fear they may be gone... 3EB
Hey in reply i love the dig and think it is the best pc game ever made. I also love the monkey island series and alll lucasarts adventure games. the reason adventures are a dying bread is because boring games like the longest journey coem out. i also hope full throttle is an adventure game. and it would be the greatest if lucasarts would come out with another dig....in collaberation with steven speilburg of corse. Zindell
By far I love adventure games but unfortunatly never played drim fandango. I wanted to buy it but i'm afraid of it not working with XP. I downloaded the demo but i can't make it work. plus I was hoping i could find it cheaper than $15 cuz it's old. plus i live in canada I'd get ripped off on shipping.
