Of course noone else will even touch the whole "GLA is a proprietary format" thing, so they just latch onto "we need softimage! And it's $10,000!" crap... SOFTIMAGE WILL NOT HELP YOU MAKE NEW ANIMATIONS FOR JK2 WITHOUT SOME TOOLS TO HANDLE THE GLA FORMAT If you can't find a way to saying "I don't like that idea" without being a total prick, or a waste of space by typing "no comment" maybe you should just go jump off a very tall building?
