I tried to run a dedicated server, but then I couldn't find it on internet when I tried to join my server (yes, I've launched again the game). Can you please explain me how to do it right? Thanks;)
Mr_Sharky Posted June 17, 2002 Posted June 17, 2002 Well it could be one of many things. What command line do you use to start the server? Does the server send a heartbeat to the raven master server? Try typing status into the console, it should show you the map running and players that are connected. If something has gone wrong then it will show a server not running message.

I know it's running because it send the heartbeat to raven and I can read on the console of player playing . But I can't join my server! I've to say I'm trying to do this with only one pc,maybe that's the problem?
Mr_Sharky Posted June 17, 2002 Posted June 17, 2002 Joining using the same PC shouldn't matter although there are performance issues. Have you tried manually adding your server to the favourites list? Also you didn't show the command line you're using.

TheAphextwin Posted June 18, 2002 Posted June 18, 2002 If you are running a server and playing on the same machine with another copy of the game open make sure you set the servers port to a non default port, something like 20101 should be fine for the server.
