i cant believe u people here...the editing forums r supposed to be so we can share opinions and help newbies(me) with common(ehmmm) problems.i cant understand how my thead can had 30 views at the moment and no reply??i mean is it because u people dont know or u dont wanna help???

 

dont take this as flaming but i am going mad with this map i am making!!!!its complete(almost) and i cant get those damn triggers to work!!!!!

i cant help ya but i wanted to let you know that your not alone. for a couple of map ideas i have, a monster generator is vital to the gameplay (making more places more dangerous but more lucrative (shields)) and aswell as having and RPG world.

 

could you possibly have the trigger1 not only spawn an enemy but deactivate trigger3, and activate trigger2 that activates trigger3 and deactivates trigger1, trigger3 activates trigger 1 and deactivates trigger2? (complex i know :p) |this woudl keep summonging them as fast is it can i belive|

 

you could always throw in a button to the mix that acts independantly and just activates trigger1, so then the button just activates trigger3. |allowing you to possibly summon them only when you want to by the use of a button|

 

im not sure how to throw in the use of time but that is what i woudl really find useful or maybe a generator that summons another when the current enemy dies?

 

please keep me (us) updated on your progress.

i've tried doing it with many different trigs that one deactivates another n stuff but it wont spawn it more than once...i'm sure that the editor cant do it...u need a script cause the editor doestn actually spawn the enemy just makes him visible(or smthing)

the damn prob is that i dont now **** on scripting and the icarus manual doesnt help me at all.
