saber help (beam orientation)

This was probably asked 100 times but anyway. :)

 

I made a custom saber model in Milkshape. Exported to md3, converted to GLM (w/ MD3View) and replaced the default Kyle's saber with it. The problem is that in game the beam comes from the wrong place, looks like from Kyle's pants (LOL) tho the saber itself is in the perfect position. How can set it up right?

could you please tell me how you solved this problem. I am getting nowhere on my Mace Windu EpII saber because I can't get the saber to stop domming out of his pants...Kyle's one horny bastard ;P
