DividedByZero
I have a brush, I make it breakable, I opened the entity window and set debrismodel to chunks (that's one of like 6 options listed) but when I break it, it's still breaking into rocks. What am I doing wrong?
Grets Sirob
Don't you have to set the path to the right chunks? I don't know anthing about that sorta thing, but that might be why... Mesa stupid!
RichDiesal
That's because chunks are rocks. Just...big rocks. If you want it to throw something else not listed there, you'll need to make a model for it to throw (those files are just md3s, I believe). If it's metal or something and you don't want to make your own md3, I'd suggest just setting it to none and having it explode without throwing anything. VIO
heres wat it say i radiant gtk let this out "debrismodel" Model of debris chunks to throw when object is destroyed. There are special cases for this item rather than using a model name also, they are: rock chunks wood glass none those models are different because they throw random models and such of the thing you pick its not like a normal model which would just be that one model coming off... of course through out the game there is broken metal things so i would sugest searching through your assets0.pk3 for a metal model becuase im sure its there
Master Shawn
If you want it to throw metal chinks the md3 is one of these models/chunks/metal/metal1_1.md3 models/chunks/metal/metal1_2.md3 models/chunks/metal/metal1_4.md3 models/chunks/metal/metal2_1.md3 models/chunks/metal/metal2_2.md3 models/chunks/metal/metal2_3.md3 models/chunks/metal/metal2_4.md3 models/chunks/metal/wmetal1_1.md3 models/chunks/metal/wmetal1_2.md3 models/chunks/metal/wmetal1_3.md3 models/chunks/metal/wmetal1_4.md3 Hope this helps :)
