how would i make something harm someone on or near it when it explodes? I made 2 gas cylinders for my level with health of 1000 each, and when they do go, i want them to go with a big bang.

I assume it's a func_breakable? You can add the key dmg to set how much damage they take and the key dmgrad to determine without how many grid units in any direction they need to be to take that damage.

Is there a list of keys like that anywhere? I have no idea what keys I can add to any entities to make them do stuff... or do I just have to ask here when I want to find out anything?

ok cool, thanks. nickers, when you bring up the entity box, then say, double click on func_breakable, in the gray text box in the middle there is all the options for what you can do, like dmg and dmgrad. I just say realized thats what it was today, a "help" box!
