nomad Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 I want to look at .bot files and .jkb files that are in pk3 files that I have. Can I decompress a pk3 file? If so, with what program? Sorry for the noobness, but it will go as time passes MTFBWY
Darth Sazah Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 If you want to unpack pk3 file, simply use winzip to unpack them. i personally like winace better, because it will show all the contents by folders.
MasterD-LeyAmas Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 To extract .pk3 files, you can either associate them with the windows zip utility (if you're running windows ME/2000/XP), or associate them with winzip and extract them just like a normal zip file.
nomad Posted June 19, 2002 Author Posted June 19, 2002 Thanks, I figured that was the answer. I was just going nuts and I couldn't believe I didn't have winzip installed anywhere. I just love it when windows seems to think it's making life easier for you, when it really isn't. -nomad MTFBWY
