AoD-Venom Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 I've Heard ppl talk about it could someone point me to it?
DarthFallen_NYC Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 sure, it's a tutorial on how to put player models into the game. You can find it in the released tools in jk2 folder under gamedata/tools. it's called JK2_Model_tutorial_... If u dont have the tools u can find it here: http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/resources/jk2/tutorials/modeltutorial/modeltutorial1.shtml The FallenAngel_NYC
AoD-Venom Posted June 19, 2002 Author Posted June 19, 2002 Thanks, But I thought it was a tutorial on how to create models. If there is a good one out there I'd really appreciate someone showing me it. I've already seen the FBF one on simple models such as a saber and it is not very in depth.
DarthFallen_NYC Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 sure but could you first tell me what program you use. I know a bunch of good tutorial sites and in addition, I found a video on net about creating simple models.
DarthFallen_NYC Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 Here are some good tutorials for beginners Basics: http://www.gmaxsupport.com/downloads/gmax_intro.mov Mapping/UVW: http://www.warillustrated.com/temp/map_01.zip http://www.warillustrated.com/temp/map_02.zip And if u have a broadband connection here are 2 ultimate tutorials about modeling and uvw mapping: http://dl.fileplanet.com/dl/dl.asp?polycount/cottages/zedaxis/wolfblade_tutorial_2.zip http://dl.fileplanet.com/dl/dl.asp?polycount/cottages/zedaxis/wolfblade_tutorial_2.zip You can also just go to google and type in "gmax tutorials" and that's it. Later on, you can apply the skills learned from the tutorials to your jk2 models. The FallenAngel_NYC
