If he was jacking his idea rich would have made kamino in the star wars universe not lucas. Besides he knows, he posted on the forums.

Maybe its true what they say "great minds do think alike". I have to say he did a great job on the skybox. The water affect is awesome. But how will it lag? Only time will tell.

Note: the orig post I made was mostly in humor, so you guys can relax too, we always make fun of massassi, that's all.

It is notably different from mine in that it lags like a mofo on my system... r_speeds hit around 30-40k at the worst points (I drop to about 12 fps with a bot on the screen). But. That isn't really a problem for people with high-end systems, as I've heard. Kamino and KaminoX (his) are notable different styles, and I actually encouraged his actions. His platform is in fact scaled much closer to that of the movie, and will probably please all you "but your platform is so small" people. Mine is a dueling platform and geared as such, framerate et all considered - nothing more, nothing less. And as I understand it, he started working on his around the same time I did, anyway - it's just that neither of us heard of the other's project until I was about to finish (mine took a month to build, while his is going on 2 months now I suppose?) Oh, and just fyi, that skybox of his isn't animated. It just sits there.

I also concurr with Rich, I know that Det was working on his version almost around the same time if not before - he was mainly busy with working on this Kashyyyk map... anyhoo both look pretty cool yet I havn't tried iether Cheers

I think it's pretty lame that he's being so un origional that's all. Oh, the irony - the fact that RichDiesal's map is "a clone" of the location from the movie has seemed to escape you.
