Ok, I'm on richdiesals tutorial and he said I needed to cut out something.I know how to cut but, what I dont know is how do you make your cuts so you have four dots that make the cut?Or mor dots to make the cut.Oh, and rich, if you looking at this tell me how you cut that piece into a long piece,hollow, and how you got the top to be cut off so you can fall in to it.

 

 

Yeah, even when I am reading it, it seems messed up but I'm in a hurry so it wont make sense....Kinda...

You should already know how to clip brushes by the time you get to that tutorial...

 

First of all, to make that pit, you just build it piece by piece. You should have learned how to do that in General Concepts 102: Lesson 1. Don't use the Hollow Tool. Ever. The Hollow Tool is just an inefficient shortcut - you need to build all of your rooms manually (which was described for you in GC102:Lsn1).

 

And to cut the hole in the floor, just make four seperate clips (use Shift-Enter) to make a cutout piece the shape of a square in the middle of the floor. Then delete that square brush.

 

If that doesn't make sense, go through the GC101-102 tutorials and figure out which basic skills you don't have that I'm referring to.
