ALIEN_JL
------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. to add force push in to force lightning ??? I mean that when force lightning hit some guy it will knock that guy down and push it away as long as that lightning hit him... (also prevents character from getting up...) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2. to make force lightning blockable with lightsaber ??? (just like any other attack it should block it when it comes from front of you and you are not attacking..) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3. to prevent characters from running when using force attacks (lightning, grip, push, pull...) ?? (i mean that you can use them when running but it will automatically slow you down to walking speed and change to walking anims) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4. to totally remove some force powers like drain for example ?? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5. to replace saber throw level 3 with level 2 and level 2 with level 1 and add new type to level 1 which should be like it normally is exept that saber doesn't return to your hand but it falls to the ground ?? normal
They are all possible, wether you have the capabilities to code them, affects that.
keto
i like your ideas , most of them seem pretty doable (although i am not a coder) the only one that looks like it might be difficult woudl be having the lightsaber block lightning, but i think that specifically is a great idea for a gameplay adjustment (like a fans version). good luck to you, -keto
Joben
Yeh that stuff is doable. Not shure how to do it all exactly but im pretty shure you CAN do it. It would take time...im looking at teh code for the force powers now...its not quite as simple as editing say weapon damage. The saber blocking lightening realy needs doing. Its in the star wars universe already...its not that we would be adding it but that its inexplicable MISSING from the game.
Saruman
Will you do that? It sounds pretty cool, unfortunately I did never any coding, so I don`t know how, but if you trying to do this all, let us know, for it would provide us with a lot of episode2 fighting fun. jipe
Its in the star wars universe already...its not that we would be adding it but that its inexplicable MISSING from the game. Possibly because the game was released before Ep2, and Raven didn't have access to any Ep2 materials..
DireTan
I dont see why lightning should be blocked by lightsaber because then people couldnt even use Lightning cause everyone blocks it all the time.. how about a Block button that slows you down and you enter a blocking stance and you block more and also resist force powers.. And how about a Mod that you have to EARN it to be a Jedi Im not talk Jedi Master but im saying you start with a blaster you kill some people earn (Force Points) and you go up in Ranks from Padawan to Jedi Master as you get (Force Points) You start as Initiate and get a lightsaber at padawan.. also take out all that BS weapons in JK2 O keep the Classic stuff like E-11 blaster and Bryar and Disruptor is still pretty cool.. This may not sound cool right now but in game it will be..
