JCronic
I want to add rain and wind into a certain duel map just for myself, and was wondering how I can do that. I have the editing tools that has the commands for weather but not sure how to input it into a map. I'm not really a mapper at all.
aazell
First off ya can only have weather in Single Player games. No weather in multi player. Sorry it bummed me out too. Right. Before you get into this too far I recommend you go to the top of the mapping forum to the resources thread and run through the tutorials there. No point running before you can walk. Once you can build a room with lights and jump around in it then you can move on to this kinda stuff. It's actually quite easy to set up weather in a single player game. But I doubt anyone could guess how. Sorry I'm rambling. have fun learning the level skills. It's not that hard at all. My girlfreind can do it!!!!!!!!! aaz
Badakku
Why didn't you give him the answer. Wherefrom could you know he knows really nothing about mapping?? When he wants to start with a room with some rain in it, let him know how to do it! Do it as follows: in the place where you want your weather to appear, make a brush and cover the whole of it with the system/outside texture. Now put a fx_rain or whatelse you want into this brush and you got your weather.
