Free web page? Anyone know one?

I am looking for a low quantity web service that I can upload maps jsut to share with people. Anoyone knwo anywhere that you dont even have to get a domain? Yahoo maybe ?

yahoo has geocities, although the bandwidth limit per day is pretty low, and i think they cap file size.

Lycos has various free websites available, depending upon which of the national portals you use to sign up.

You can use the US site but the Uk or french ones offer more HD and BW with their free versions,

if your with aol (ugh) they have reasonable homepage provision, and allow fairly big files i believe.

 

Various of the cable providers (@ home etc) give free space with accs automatically, worth checking if your with one.
