anyone good enuff to show me some .maps

been lurking around the forums for a while and been using rich's tuts. but im just thinking, it'd help if anyone had any .map files they wouldnt mind letting me take a look at.

i wont edit them, just wanna see how people are making stuff.

If you use the tutorials, the MAPs of each lesson are in each conclusion, if you need help looking at general concepts...

 

The tools also come with the MAP for the first level, kejim_post. Look at that one for more advanced stuff.

I am also very new, and I posted my map for various reasons on my personal web site:

It is a WIP level of the matrix. It dons't showcase a lot of the tutorial stuff right now - It has an elevator, some doors and some lighting, no curves yet, but still, you might want to give it a look.

 

If all you see is text on the link, jsut right click and select all, paste it in notepad and file -> save as (change fille type to all types) matrixe.map

Rich's tutorial maps are a very good place to start. I think there is a multiplayer map (ffa_bspin, IIRC) that comes w/ the tools, too...

ive been understanding the tuts pretty well, i just wanna see the sort of stuff that comes out when people are like, mid way thru finishing. the ones that come with radiant like kejim are a little bloated for me to really learn anything from unless i take ages.

that's cuz Kejim is one huge sp map.

 

I think there is a multiplayer map (ffa_bspin, IIRC) that comes w/ the tools, too...
