HomersDonut
I'm a total skin design newbie, but I wanted to reformat a Homer Simpson skin from Quake3 for jk2. I could use some advice.
Nanodagiardino
You are all confused. 1- A model is the 3d object. 2- A skin is the textures that cover the 3d object. To do a nice Homer you would need an homer model for JO, and that is easier done from scratch than from conversion from q3. Once you have your model, use whatever technique to skin him. Without the model, you would need to skin it over an existing model, and that would suck bad since there is no model that looks a little like Homer. Instead of atempting impossible feats, read some facts, tutorials, whatever and then decide what you want to do.
