acewombat
I have opened up the Jedi trainer for editing in my gimp program the only problem is I color recolor him and it just looks like I took a marker and colored it. ANyone got any tips on I guess detailing the new skin How in depth is this. Also there are several tools a paint brush and pencil. It's similar to ms paint but I never really used it. Can anyone suggest perhaps some detailing tips when it comes appyling new color to the skin, cause mine just look like crap?
Altimira
my suggestion, is find another paint program (one that works great is photoshop, but its expensive.) or does your program have a burn and dodge tool, which lightens and darkens areas it is aplied to. otherwise you have to get different shades of each color and apply them to the light and dark areas. acewombat
Yes It does have a burn and dodge tool. What exactly is it used for?
TrevHimself
burn darkens (or burns, so to speak) the color it's applied to, and dodge lightens (or dodges, so to speak) the color it's applied to.
