secret areas and force powers

does finding the secret areas increase your force powers as in JK or are they just for getting cool stuff. Maybe finding them has other benefits as well?

As far as I know, the secret areas only give you items like health, bacta tanks, batteries, ammo, etc. No force abilities. It's not like in JKI where finding all the secret areas gave you more force stars as you progress; in JKII, you will always have full force abilities by the end of the game.

Secret areas only give items in JK2 (bacta, shield, etc) and there is even a secret area that is empty! (Bespin). You get new force powers at the start of certain levels (you will see the info when you check your mission objective at the beginning of the game). Good luck!
