How do I Do some In Game Testing after makeing JKIIRadient map 2

can some one plz help me. i would really like to do some In Game Testing with my map i've made in JKIIRadient i'm lost with tourials plz help. for some reson i can't bring down to concle. i tried putting every control on defults i pressed ` and ~ a milloin times i have v. 1.03 JKII i've made the map into fullvis .bsp what do i do

to bring down the console you need to hold SHIFT, and then press ` (which is ~ with shift held). You have to be in JKII to bring down the menu, but it doesn't matter where, you could be at the main menu, the join server menu, in game, wherever. When the console is down, type devmap mapname where mapname is the nameof your map. Your map must be in gamedata/base/maps for it to load. If it isn't you'll get a message like map not found or something.

ya it dosen't shot up but its in that folder

try this in JK2 Radiant did you go to the option BSP on the top command bar.. then choose

 

Full vis(no light)

 

worked for him.. also make sure under the command bar edit got to preferences and make sure that that it is saving the directory into the right folder should be second long fill in area from the bottom of the page

 

then try the consule command
