Joben
If the author is nice there will be a save for it that will show up on the menu. If there isnt one then go look at the readme file that came with the map. Inside i should give the name of the map file itself (that is in the pk3) it will be something like this: sp_Mainframe.bsp now that you have that name start up the game and open the console. (press 'Shift' and ~ at the same time) type the word map followed by the name you found (leave of the .bsp part) If the author was stupid and didnt put the info in the readme just take a guess. Its realy not as complicated as it sounded, I was just trying to be through Basicaly: open the console, type: map sp_****** and hit enter. ****** being the map's name of course. Grets Sirob
In mods, the author won't add a saved game because it seriously messes things up. I made a mod that replaces kyle with a chiss, and tried to load a game, bad results. It was using kyles model, and the skin was seriously warped. I shall rule the galaxy. jipe
The best way for authors is to make it appear in the Mods menu..
