regenerating breakables(explodeables)

say i wanted to make a hall with panels, triggered by switches located elsewhere, that when triggered explode and kill players near the panels.

 

I can do all that.

 

Is there any way to make the panels respawn so that they can be retriggered later without having to restartthe map?

well, the panels wouldnt break into peices, but you'll get an explosion.

for every panel, make a fxrunner on the side of it (right click->fx->fxrunner) then set the direction. Enter a key 'fxfile' and value as one of these There are some tutorails on this if you dont get it. then have a button targeted to the fxrunner(s) and to a trigger_hurt ( but i think there is a way to make the fxrunner itself hurt you). the problem with a trigger hurt, is that it wont turn off and let me tell you that it can get very tricky.:p
