shadoseer Posted July 8, 2002 Share Posted July 8, 2002 Every time I die in any MP mode my game freezes momentarily, the sound skips 3 to 8 times and then it unfreezes. I am running the latest version and it did not do this with the 1.02 version. I am running a 500mhz PIII with a GeForce II mx400 64 mb video card, 256 mb of NVRam on a Win98 SE OS. I have a broadband connection and have had it occur on a lan so I don't believe that it is LAG related. I try not to die but that doesn't work (LOL). I wonder if I'm the only one with this issue. I have never had the game completely crash so it is a bug I can live with, its just really annoying. Especially listening to the same death scream repeat 8 times.
