Server echoeing everything I do

I am running a dedicated server on my machine. Absolutely no problems with it. The problem comes in when I start a seperate game (on the same machine) and join the server. I don't have any problems playing. It's just echoing everything I do. And I mean everything. Every single little move is broadcast somehow. I have gone through both config files to see if there is some kind of broadcast command, but can't find any. Do any of you know what might cause this???
