Vulcanis Adminmod Works With 1.04

I tested it tonight with my updated 1.04 server. And everything works fine. Just like regular official 1.04 except you have all the adminmod goodies. My thought is this...

 

 

Raven didn't actually change the code since they released the SDK, but only instead added the clientside stuff in the "assets5.pk3". Because everything I see now works just fine, no funky mid air lunge animation, it works just like it should in official 1.04. No crashes or errors otherwise.

 

As of tonight Im running the adminmod again on my 1.04 patched linux server :) . If I run into any serious problems I'll update this thread. But so far so good.

Sokar I totaly love this mod. I more than fullfils my needs of lording over my minons when they join the server. THey call me the Evil Communist Server Admin :D Anyway I seem to be haveing zero problems now and the mod seems to get along with the new patch nicely.

This mod freaking ROCKS! Bunny? Exploding heads?! It's a JK2 admin's dream come true!

 

As soon as I get back from vacation, you can bet this thing is going on my server.

 

Thanks for the info. I can't believe I'm starting to really get back into the game again, as an admin/owner AND a player.

i read the readme but being computer illiterate i still dont really understand how to load the mod. I have the adminmod folder in my gamedata and the pk3 files in there.. the part i dont understand in the readme is this part:

+set fs_+

Usage:

Create a directory called adminmod (In your JKII dir under Linux or in your GameData dir under Windows) and

put the adminmod.pk3 in that dir.

 

Then just start the server normally and add this to the commandline:

+set fs_game adminmod

 

Example:

"....\jk2mp.exe" +set fs_game adminmod +exec server.cfg

 

is the command line the line thing that let's you type things when you start up the server? if so do i just type +set fs_game adminmod and that is it?

ahh this is soo confusing!!!
