Remote admin tool

Hi.

 

Just to let u know, there is a nice remote admin tool called HLSW.

 

Every setting can be changed, without knowing all the rcon commands

seems to be quite helpful, however theres a few things not too fortunate about it:

 

- the banning feature works only with wonids. if you want to ban someone, you still gotta do it manually (banning and unbanning and keeping track of how long someone has been banned is a bitch to do manually)

 

- somehow the refreshing of servers every second can't be turned off

 

- a lot of non-relevant stuff shows up (chat window which doesn't work with jk2, mirc bot window which only works with a couple of hl mods, a lot of hl/cs anticheat stuff, that of course doesn't work with jk2)

 

If all the non relevant stuff would just be not visible, it'd be a lot easier to use (especially when you have a lot of jk2 servers to keep track of).

 

It has the VERY handy feature though, that there is a master rcon console, that affects to whatever server you select. So you just type a command once, then go through the servers and just hit "send" each time. Very useful to send the same rcons to numerous servers.

So it IS a good tool, a proper ban function that keeps track of ips (or handles ips at all) is really missing though.
