Bucke
i want to edit some bots - so that ive got easy opponents to practice usuing lightsabers on. am i right in thinking you edit their chacterisisitc by openning their jkb file? i did this and to be honest its not to clear what does what. im sure i saw a bot editting tool somewhere but i cant find it in the files section - is there one or am i going crazy? Darth-Ra
The Easiest method to use is use Bot Maker, just edit the attributes you want and create, easy enough...

Jason_W
Not easily. But where's the fun in that?
Xenoeye
Training obviously, practising specials. Anyway Id like to do something a little different, just a good custom bot. How do skinners normally add bot support? Just copying the files from a default model??? Are there any tutorials on this stuff or Q3. Any info on how to actually use botmaker? The readme is hopless. I cant even figure out the max/min for these values. Someone must have actually scripted bot support before bot maker was released, how did u learn? Darth-Ra
To know how to use the thing, just extract a .jkb and .botScript files and view them with notepad and edit the attributes in Bot Maker, this might help you to get a feel for it...
