Anavel Gato
I only know how to view my model in multiplayer mode but this doesn't work because it ends up showing Kyle. I wanna try the model in singleplayer but don't know how to. Is there a command that allows me to change my Kyle model into another 1?
VampireHunterD
Okay, I shall instruct you how to get it in single player: step1.)Create a new .zip file. Name it to this example: 'Padme_sp.pk3.zip'. Make sure to rename it to where the .zip part is left off when you complete the following steps below: step2.)Now create a new folder somewhere else. Name this folder to "models". In the "models" folder, create another new folder called "players". Make another folder in the 'players' folder called 'kyle'. step3.)Now go to your 'Base' directory for JK2. Find your player model folder in the real 'models/players/' folder. Copy your players folder. Now, go and paste it in the new 'kyle' folder that you just created. step 4.)This stuff should now all be in your new 'models' folder that you created. Put the new 'models' folder in your 'Padme_sp.pk3.zip.' step5.)Put your Padme_sp.pk3 in your 'base' directory for JK2. step6.)Enjoy playing with your new SP player. (make sure to rename it to 'Padme_sp.pk3' before you do put it in the base directory. Sorry I sounded a little confusing at first there.) (and make sure you don't accidently put in the little quotation mark things when you're making this stuff. I was just using that to specify what to name them to. I'm not trying to offend you. I just want to make sure you get everything done right.)
VampireHunterD
Could we please turn this into a sticky thread so others could learn from it? It was done with Emon's tutorial thread in the mapping forum. So what would be wrong with making it a sticky thread here?
