Warning: [WOV] Server.

Duel Server, [WOV] server. Utterly destroyed by me. 10/0, 10/0...yeah you get the picture. Then the [WOV] members come on. Ugh. They say I am a "Counter Whore." (At that time I did not know exactly what that meant...). Found out a counter whore is someone who swings the saber, and when it touches the others saber they can get a counter hit in, I guess that happened with me about 2-3 times the entire time I was there...so. Me, not talking at all (trying not to be cocky, considering they were already angry at me, for well, winning.) I have never heard so many insults for WINNING. I wish i would have heard "win whore," that would have been a nice touch. But, anyway, i got beat once by a nice person who was rather skilled, and then that was there chance to strike. They initiated a vote to kick me, but this nice guy (Who will remain anonymous) said, "Why? Just becase no one can beat him?" And voted no. Now, I think I was 8/1 at that time waiting for my chance to duel again. The skillfull guy got beat and his score was 4/1 I think.....THEN was their time to strike. They got two WOV guys into a duel and promptly kicked me. I came back to chat with the skillfull guy to go to a different duel server, just as we were working everything out, kicked again. I came back worked out the rest of the details, just in time for another kicking. So, this other person and I went to another duel server and I soundly defeated him, which doesnt really matter.

 

But all in all, the "WOV" clan is a joke. If you have ANY skill do NOT go to that server, for skill is banned.

When did this happen? What WoV members were on the server at that time? I do admit that WoV can be a bit liberal as far as kicking people off our servers goes, but I'd really be surprised if the only reason you were kicked off was 'cause you were winning. Anything's possible, however, and I can't rule out the possibility that you were unjustly kicked without some more information. If you care to provide some more details I'll look into what happened...

I was kicked for just that. Anytime I would try to tell them I wasnt "whoring" or hacking, the accusations/name calling became more furious. They left no room for negotiation.

 

I believe one of the names was optico or optical or something.

 

He wasnt the worse...the others were, forgot there names at the moment.

You claim to have been kicked simply because you were consistantly winning yet you go on to say that you were accused of whoring. Aparrently somebody felt you were being cheesy. I don't know what it was that could have given them that impression, but it's obvious that you weren't kicked *just because* you were winning, rather it was *how* you were winning that was the issue.

 

Anyhoo.., I don't know what tactic you wre using that sparked such an outlash so I can't comment on the appropriatness(sp?) of your being kicked off our server. All I can do is say I'm sorry if you feel we were a bit overzealous in policing our server. I'd also like to ensure anyone who's reading this that WoV strives to keep the play on our servers honorable and cheese-free. If that environment sounds like fun to you come on in, otherwise stay out or you might just get kicked...

Not to be rude or anything, but the post above mine can be deleted, for it is false information. I was called a "Counter whore," yes that's right. A COUNTER-WHORE. For swinging my saber and accidentally swinging again when coming in contact with someone elses. That was pretty much all they could say I was doing, which happened 2-3 (see first post, again) the entire time i was there...I didnt even know about "countering" until the cronies of WOV so "helpfully" pointed it out to me.

 

Oh, you want some other excuses they pulled on me?

 

They did not like my skin choice. They told me to change skins because they hated Jar Jar, so I changed to the Gungan skin, which they felt the need to insult, also.

 

This is not the first time I have had problems with WOV. If you are a newbie, and take being defeated without complaining, the WOV server is a good place to be. But, if your skilled and win, they WILL go out of there way to insult you and try and get rid of you, (that is of course, if you are winning, soundly.)

Seems like WoV has the "if you can beat us then youre obviously cheating/whoring/spamming" philosophy. Them and every other noob too. For once I agree with icefox..this is strange.

Flaming someone by alledging they are gay is reason to get yourself banned, Might want to take that into account.

 

And Yes I agree too many times now in too many games people employ the if they are better than me they must be cheating strategy. Mainly this happens if you play alot on a skilled server and then downgrade to a less skilled server. ALthough it's wrong for the clan to think your cheating, but if you know you are so much better why play there? Your only pissing them off because you are too good. And wheres the challenge for you? Personally If someone asked me to leave a server because i was making the game no fun for them I'd gladly do so.
