Well that was a bit harsh but, yeah.

When your doing transparency dont antialias it so it blends in with the (obviously white) background you were working with cause its leaving you with a horrible jagged border.

Also just get rid of the background on the first page.

 

And try using frontpage or better yet proper coding and then upload it, you'll get better results than geocities.

nah, don't use frontpage. use macromedia dreamweaver or code it by hand. it takes some time to code by hand but it makes you learn proper html.

 

if you need any help let me know. i'd be happy to give you a few pointers

Well I figured it was best to say frontpage, dreamweaver is a little pricey and coding is cleaner and better if your learning.

do you mean compared to hand coding? then i'll agree but otherwise frontpage adds extra un-needed code that dreamweaver doesn't.

Yeah Im not debating that Dreamweaver is the best WYSIWYG editor. Frontpage is far too messy and a little weird in its output at times.
