JoezCool2
How do I even open a *.pk3 file? Is there a way to have a map play a *.mp3 file? I have 15 New CTF maps on my server about 4 of them have no music at all. Is there some way I can even add the default music? thanx...
MDL_Sas
several things.. Yes you can add your own mp3 to a map.. only problem is you sound like you want to add it to a allready existing map.. which is a bit harder because its been compiled from a .map to a .bsp but if you download jk2radiant you can always add music by setting it in the worldspawn trigger of the map.. and add the .mp3 to the pk3 when completed... RichDiesal
Or a little bit more logical answer... If a map is not playing any music and you want it to, then tough cookies. You can't do it without getting the uncompressed/unoptimized version of the map and adding it in manually in the map editor.
Eagle_e7
Or if you REAALLY wanted it you called always type music (path name) in the console when playing the map:D for example: music music/artus_topside/impbased_explore.mp3 Although that is a little time consuming:p But i guess you could bind it to a key if you wanted.
