Chitch
Why do you have to type: g_dismember 100 cg_dismember 100 What's the significance between the "g" and the "cg"? I'm just curious. Anyone know?
WD_Rage
g = Server variable. If you're not the server, you don't have to worry about this. cg = Client variable. This one determines whether or not the client's game draws the dismemberment. Only a client can change this variable.
Chitch
So, if the server types in g_dismember 100 Do all the players see dismemberments or do they have to type cg_dismember 100 as well?
zworqy
Clients have to type cg_dismember 1 for "normal" dismemberment or cg_dismember 2 for heads and waist dismemberment. (or cg_dismember 999 if they thinks thats cool) PS. I believe the G stands for "general", but I'm not sure.
WD_Rage
From the programming sense: g = game cg = client game To see dismemberment, you have to set your cg_dismember to something. My server runs with dismemberment of 300. To see what I see, you would need to set cg_dismember to 300.
