TheLearner Posted July 20, 2002 Posted July 20, 2002 Hi i m new to this all but thank to all your great suggestions i ve managed to get a server up and running perfectly on ADSL 512kb download and 256kb upload can manage 8 peeps at a time pings 50 (cable/dsl ) to 250 (56k). But just got one question i know you can run a JK2MP server in the background with out the screen etc as a service in/under Linux but just wondering if there's anychance of being able to run it as a NT service ( i m running Windows XP Pro and the server runs well). My idea is to have to is as the pc is like loaded it would run it in the background as a service and not having to load the thing up every time my self.
