Nebelwerfer_ Posted July 22, 2002 Posted July 22, 2002 To those of you who make threads and name them "Wow" or "poll" I have some favor to ask of you: please be a little more discriptive. If every thread was named "this sucks!" or "check this out" then the forums would be very hard to navigate through.
MotionMan Posted July 22, 2002 Posted July 22, 2002 LOL, you do have a point. But then again alot of people wouldnt be tricked into coming to a particular thread. Thus making the thread useless and unvisited:p I still like to see what everythread is about even though I may not post a reply.
mez1109 Posted July 22, 2002 Posted July 22, 2002 Imagine the thread name like a newspaper article header. Not much detail, but gets people into the thread. Yes, some thread names don't have anything to do with the thread itself. You are living proof that giving long thread names makes people access it, why else would I be posting this reply.
Nebelwerfer_ Posted July 22, 2002 Author Posted July 22, 2002 right now, in my field of view there are threads named "oh dear" "i've been thinking" "poll" "wow" it's just annoying.
