Eighty8
Whenever I try to install on my WinXP machine, I keep getting this same error from my regular cdrom: Component: Game File Group: Game Files File: L:\GameData\GameData\base\assets1.pk3 Error: Incorrect Function the machine is an Athlon 750, with 384mb of ram and I forget who made the motherboard....anybody help? Forgot to mention, I tried installing the Demo and it went in fine and played great It'll also give the error from my cdrw: Component: Game File Group: Game Files File: M:\GameData\GameData\base\assets1.pk3 Error: Data Error (cyclic redundancy check) But both errors stop at the EXACT same spot, just after it hits 4% installed, then it hangs for a few seconds before giving an error

CenturiOn
did u try installing JKII on a other PC from the same CD??? if the same error appears then there must be damaged files on the CD itself...
Eighty8
Yep, error doesn't happen on other PC.
Chiles4
I'll cut to the chase. I'd make a sizeable wager that if you pulled the CD-ROM drive out of the computer on which JK2 works and put it in your computer, chances are you'd be able to install on your machine as well.
