El_guitarist613 Posted July 24, 2002 Posted July 24, 2002 ok WTF! ever since i downloaded the v1.04 patch my SP wont run. it says ERROR: file length>MAX_QPATH (strilen botfiles//////////////////////////////////////////) ok what is going on!!!!!
Deetox187 Posted July 24, 2002 Posted July 24, 2002 Ya i've also been getting funky errors when starting SP ever since i installed 1.04, i am pretty sure they are caused by incompatibilities with some mod or other pk3 you have in your base directory. Try taking out all your pk3's from base (except the asset pk3's) and see if your SP will start then, if it does you will have to test your pk3's one by one until you find the source of the evil. Thats what i had to do twice already, and i have to do it AGAIN because i'm getting another SP error now. From now on i am going to test every pk3 that i download right away to make sure it doesn't screw with SP, these errors are a major pain in the groin to fix.
cwpippin Posted August 10, 2002 Posted August 10, 2002 I found this error to be related to the enhancedsabers.pk3 file. This was true on 2 different PC's running Windows XP and JKII. I deleted this file and SP was again operational.
SamuelDravis Posted August 13, 2002 Posted August 13, 2002 when i run SP from the startup menu or directly from the file, the screen just doesn't show up. it has the sounds and changes the video and everything but just the video is not there. it just shows the desktop. it shows up on the toolbar too. any ideas?
cwpippin Posted August 13, 2002 Posted August 13, 2002 Try renaming or deleting the JK2config.cfg file and retry you single player game.
