Mix_Master2k
Hi folks, sorry but i haven't found any other forums where they seem willing to help. This has nothing to do with JKII, but, when I start windows 2000, it takes me almost 30 mins to get to the logon screen! Is there a tweak that can speed this up? I cannot/will not live with this. It was a clean install (after a format) Any ideas? -Mix Master
Deetox187
What the hell? 30 minutes? umm i don't think that ANY tweak is going to remedy that problem. Can't see what could cause that much of a delay (unless you're running a 486 lol) but this probably isn't the best place to find the solution. I suggest you head on over to http://www.sharkyforums.com and post the same question, the people there have always been very helpful to me whenever i've had a bad problem. good luck. ibballin
opps sorry, it doesnt have to be ntfs it could also be fat 32 its just that i prefer ntfs cause for me it runs better (imo) strange you specs seem to be good. try booting in safe mood and run an antivirus scan if you can. if that doesnt work try booting from the 2000 disk and go to the "repair 2000 installation" (or its called something like that) if none of that works i dont know what else to say i really cant think of anything. if worse comes to worse try to do a whole new install again starting with format. hopes this helps a little or a lot
