EaSyKiLL
Have the clients turn downloading off is the only suggestion I have. I think what is happening is they are trying to get a skin or a map and the server is telling them its the mod.
Batman{TSS}
I'm running the Jedi Mod on my server which starts up fine, but....everytime someone new connects it makes them download the jedimod.pk3 file and it puts it in their base directory in able to play. What's going on there? I tested it out and it's true. If jedimod.pk3 is in my base folder I can connect fine and play. If it's not, it makes me download it from the server. Yes I've loaded the mod from the setup. So I'm sure I'm doing something wrong with starting the server, question is, what? (linux server BTW) I have a jedimod folder in the base directory, with all those files from the .zip in there. when I start the server I add ...+set fs_gametype /jedimod/JediMod it starts the jedi mod fine, but why does it make every client download the .pk3???? EaSyKiLL
If the client doesnt have any file on your server it will try to download them. AFAIK the jedimod is not a server side only mod, it is required by the clients too. Any client that connectswill try to download it if they dont have the mod, they have download turned on, and you havedownload on.
Batman{TSS}
right I understand that, but if a client has the MOD and has it loaded why would they still need to download it off the server??
