Bell
if you are using it with an alpha channel or shader save as tga, otherwise do save as jpeg. I usually choose minimum compression (large file), and save as baseline. size is in powers of 2, like computer memory, 2,4,8,16,32 etc. The dimensions can be 512x8 or 32x128 or any combination. make a folder with the name of your map and put your jpegs there. base\textures\mymap\mytex1.jpg base\textures\mymap\mytex2.jpg etc. they should show up in the radiant texture menu for posters the best effect is to apply your texture to a patch mesh one grid square (in the grid 1 scale) away from the wall.
