Cujo2099
Ok I know many of you play with the keyboard, but to me it's just to hard, so I decided to play with my joystick. Now the thing is that the Joystick works perfectly with Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, and many other games, I setup my buttons and analog like in Halo, and it works fine with Jedi Knight 1. But here's the problem with Jedi Knight 2, first thing, the game detects everything except the right analog Y axis (oh and by the way I have a Logitech Wingman Rumblepad) the left analog, on both axis are fine, and the right analog for the x axis is fine, but when I try to bind the lookup and lookdown options to my right analog Y axis, it doesn't allow, nothing happens. Second of all, it appears someone else had the same problems, the analog does not work like analog, it looks more like if you were to press left or right on the keyboard. When I try to move with my joystick, it doesn't move at the speed I am moving my analog. It moves to fast, I tried changing the sensitivity, but doesn't change a thing. That is something I don't understand, because in Jedi Knight 1, it actually does a better job of detecting my controller, it actually works like analog plus not to mention it works with my left and right analog. In Jedi Knight 1 I am able to tell it that the left analog X axis is the X axis, the Y axis is Y axis, and the right analog X axis is the R axis and the Y axis is the U axis. I wanted to know if there was some way of either a) using the controller config from the first Jedi Knight into the 2nd one, or either b) is there a way of telling Jedi Knight 2 that the X/Y axis on my left analog is the X/Y axis in the game, and the the X/Y axis on my right analog is the R/U axis (or V axis) in the game. I read somewhere that I can create my own joystick.cfg, and it would fix that, but I don't know how to create a CFG. And the default cfg's that they have is for a controller called the phanter XL or something like that, and it's completely different fro mine.
