Help! Do I jump or not?

I am in the level called NS_Streets. I have been climbing higher and higher in the city. I shoot a bad guy standing on a bridge and the bridge blows up. I run and jump over the span... and have nowhere else to go. I have tried jumping back down to lower levels but all the doors are locked. There is a ship that passes by every minute or so, and it is within reach by jumping. I know I've jumped on a passibng ship on a previous level so it's definitely an option. It is difficult to time the jump though and when I do manage to land on it, it kills me. Do I just keep trying to land on the ship or is there another way? Thanks.

When you reach the guy who is standing on this bridge, which explodes when you shoot the guy, you are actually gone too far....remember the roof with two windows, where you kumped down, and took out a rodian, and a guy from malastare??? That's just their origin, if you weren't aware

 

But in this room, stand in the end with all the windows...(in the other en should be 2 doors...), and look out to the right, there is a boat hovering outside, with a few men on it....you must somehow get to this boat, and jump upon it, to get on... gl! Ask if you need it

Yeah AND when you jump on the boat you run to the other end of it then jump to the other building on the same side of the street you are already on.

 

Now regarding the area where you shoot the guy then the bridge blows and you have to jump over the span. You don't have to go down there as was already said BUT just so you'll know. . .

After you jump the span there is a slanted dark area of the building just to the left of the bridge. You can jump on this and run up it then jump on the wide bridge above. There is a secret area up there

 

Also, the walkway continues around the building at the point where the "blown up" bridge is (before you jump across it).

You might want to pay a visit to this are if you are on jedi master diff. because there is a sniper around here who can give you some grief while you are riding on the garbage barge just before you exit. I didn't remember him on the lower difficulties - I don't think he was there.

There is also a secret area somewhere here around this corner but supposedly it returns you to the start (I passed on that so I cannot verify this)!

Except for those things you can skip this are altogether.
