In Jedi Master, noone gets Force Powers or a saber except for the "Jedi Master", who gets ONLY a saber and full Force Powers. It's basically a form of "frag the guy who is 'It'". When the Jedi Master died, the saber drops and the first person to touch it becomes the Jedi Master. Jedi vs. Merc is basically Guns vs. Sabers. I don't know any details.
