pyroc4 Posted July 29, 2002 Posted July 29, 2002 i need help with a few things. one is starting up my map in sp. when i map the file it says the bsp file cant be found. i dont think a bsp file is being made when i use the bsp fullvis function and save. all i see is a .bak file, and a .map file. please help! thats my most important, but i also want to know how to spawn downloaded characters (vader, maul, emperor, yoda etc.) in single player. please help!
hyk Posted July 29, 2002 Posted July 29, 2002 First if you installed jedi outcast in it's default directory make sure that you are saving your map in: C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base\maps if you just saved it without changing the location, it's probably in C:\My Documents When the map is in the right place, try to compile it again. It'll be finished when it says "finished" on the titlebar of the sof2map program. After that exit sof2map and you should have a .bsp file in the same directory as your map. Hope that solves it.
pyroc4 Posted July 29, 2002 Author Posted July 29, 2002 nope my map directory is correct, and the file isnt in my documents. i tried to compile it again and it does say finished on the title bar. I wonder whats wrong. Would it still say finished if there were errors that occured?
