DaNameLessOne
I am using the Linux dedicated server binary. I want to enforce ping restrictions. I have noticed that if a user connects and hs/she has a ping over 300 the server lags a bit. Under all other circumstances it does not lag. I have the following variables set in my server.cfg file. seta sv_maxPing "250" seta sv_minPing "40" That should mean that no one can connect with a ping over 250 right? Did I set the verbiage correctly? To see the whold config check this thread

blackfire
You set it correctly, but keep in mind it only applies when they are trying to connect to you. If they connect with say a 200 ping and then after connecting with you it jumps to 400 the server won't boot them.
