Jedi Calypso
He said that thee was a good chance of Aura Sing showing up in ep2, posably in connection with palpatine and the sith. before, he predicted that Shmi would be killed in ep2 or 3 [which i agree with by the way] Now, combining those two thoughts, does anybody think that Aura Sing could possably be the one hired by the sith to kill Shmi? ------------------ "Only on days that end with 'y'" The Un-Council's Disgruntled Bounty Hunter -Calypso [This message has been edited by Jedi Calypso (edited May 01, 2000).]

Guest Darth_Maul
Shmi Skywalker does not die in episode 2. I read as a quote direct from Lucas himself that whomever it is that plays the role of shmi skywalker has already been signed for episodes 2 and 3 along with Samuel L. Jackson and one or two more people. ------------------ Darth Maul Dark Lord of the Sith Order There is no peace, there is anger. There is no fear, there is power. Guest Acid_Rain327
I dunno...there is no possible way Lucas could illustrate Anakin's turn to the Dark Side in ONE film - just Luke's struggle with coming to terms with Vader being his father, and working to revive the good in him took two films. I strongly believe that Shmi will die, which will start Anakin's degression. We all know Shmi will play a role in Anakin's downfall, other wise the entire conversation between Anakin and the Jedi Council, not to mention Yoda's most famous line in the film, would have been worthless. There is no possible way to have so much happen to Anakin in just a year's time, without the plot of Episode III suffering. Besides, Lucas has said that Episode II WILL be dark, and Episode III will continue with that darkness, but with more severity. Next, I seriously doubt that Liam Neeson has signed on for 2 and/or 3 - it would be ALL over the media, and would contradict why Lucas singled him out for not fading away. Also, only Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor, Ian McDiarmid, Sam Jackson, and I believe Ahmed Best have signed on for ANY of the remaining two films. Where can I read this interview with Portman?
