Making your own duel music

Does anyone know how to do this? I tried downloading a duel music mod (the duel of fates one), and I tried using Winzip to replace the mp3 in that file with my own, naming it the same thing as the original, but when I started it up, I got the crappy default duel music.

 

Is there some kind of special editor I have to use, or am I just doing something wrong?

Did you sample your song to 44khz? also make sure you added it to the pk3 with the correct path, it should be in music\mp

I did the 44khz part, but not the part about the music/mp. I'll give that a shot.

If ya wanna be REALLY lazy, just download another duel music mod, and replace the MP3 with yours. It's what I did.
