This topic is about a few "bugs" which I found in GTA1 a while ago.

 

1) If you "accidentally" shoot a rocket and it blows you up, a "Murder One" will be added into your Criminal Record. (No really.)

 

2) If you use a flame thrower on a person and then take out your machine-gun/hand-gun and use it on the same person, you'll have TWO Muders Ones into your Crime Record.

 

 

This also reminds me of something else, but I'll post that later.

There's more:

 

3) Policemen and Ambulance guys get killed by cars even if you're driving with 1 mile/hour.

 

4) Police come after you when you commit suicide with a rocket. (When you're on fire and before you die.)

 

5) Kill a cop EXACTLY when you get arrested, but still get taken in. (WIERD...)

 

6) If the Squad Car falls into water, and the are cops inside, you can see it moving thru the water. (DOUBLE-WIERD......)

 

7) If you climb up those, uh, platforms (Mandarin-Mayhem/Tequilla-Slammer) above the Highway, and you're wanted, the police will not climb after you, they will attempt to arrest you from the exact position down bellow.

 

8) Sometimes, you can see abandoned cars on the Highway, which you had nothing to do with, and their alarm is on.

 

9) When you shoot a police man that has just got out of the car, he will get back in.

 

10) When a policeman gets out of the car and at that same moment you shoot the car with a rocket, the cop will start acting like a normal civilian, insult you when you get too close (like the ordinary GTA1 people do) and one time I got to kill him by walking over him.

 

11) The BIG Motorbike changes size and form when you get in for the first time.

That people can die because something that weighs thousands of pounds runs them over is not a bug.

 

That they're too stupid to move out of the way when said object is moving at such a slow pace, however, can be considered a bug....

 

(I'm reminded of the first Austin Powers movie, when a security guard gets run over by a slow moving steam roller.)

Civilians in GTA1 can't be killed by a car that is moving too slow. But cops can. There was also this cop who killed himself with his own car.
