Mix_Master2k Posted August 4, 2002 Posted August 4, 2002 OK folks heres the deal, I can play JK2 for about 3 mins (MP) then my screen will freeze for about 1 1/2 mins then resuming game play for about 2 mins then freezing ect. Ive turned off 4x agp capability and shadow configuration. My system specs are: Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Processor: Intel Pentium III, ~871MHz Memory: 288MB RAM DirectX Version: DirectX 8.1 Graphics Accelerator: Nvidia Riva Tnt 2 Pro Model 64 PCI Sound Accelerator: Monster Sound MX 300 Any Ideas/fixes? -Mix Master
ibballin Posted August 4, 2002 Posted August 4, 2002 ok heres my answer to everything that has to do with performance, download all the lastest drivers for everything. also adjust your ingame settings to something lower. sorry this isnt alot of help but maybe it may help
Mix_Master2k Posted August 4, 2002 Author Posted August 4, 2002 Thanks for trying but unfortunetly that doesnt solve it. Even with biliniar, 16 bit and low settings on everything just runs extremely quick and smooth, with the freezing, perhaps a video card and patch compatability error?
