Q: Is the camera/view height of the player customizable?

yesterday i was messing around with minimum roof heights for the player to slip through a door or a floor.

 

I had a long shaft with a height of 52 units. With ducking you can slip through the shaft but there is a problem.

 

Viewing Kyle in the thirdperson perspective is ok, you can even see that there is about a foot length between kyles head and the roof. But switching to the ego perspective the camera is almost stucking within the roof and within a 1-2 feet distance the roof isnt displayed cuz the camera almost touches the roof.

 

imho when ducking, the ego camera height isn't positioned in the right way, it should be at least the half length of a foot below it's original position to see through kyles real eyes.

 

 

just want to know, is there a way to change the camera height of the ego perspective with something like a reftag that you can place on md3-models or is the camera pos orientated to a bone of the playerskeleton?
