Yes, my JK2 maps are just big grey boxes with outrageous coloured lighting and a few reborns at the mo, but hey -- I'm learning. My question is this. I'm writing an SP map (the aforementioned Box of Doom) and want to put in some music from the original game. How do I do this? Please be exact in your answers - like I say I'm a total newbie at this. Catscratch Posted August 9, 2002 Share Posted August 9, 2002 For your general music, Hit alt+n while you selected a brush (anyone) and find Worldspawn entity in the list. It's generally at the bottom. Select it and set a key "music" and value "music\yourmusic.mp3". This way the music you set will be playing automatically when you start the level. If you want to play a music depending on a condition like killing a npc or entering an area, then you need to use an entity called target_play_music. Same things. "music" as key , "music\yourmusic.mp3" as value. If you want further information about how to use target_play_music entity and targetting that with another entities then search for it in the tutorials of other ppl. Like richdiesal.
