Twisted Vertex
Well, To be quite honest it looks like you just did a boolean on a cyilnder and put two wings on it. Maybe you should mapp and skin it before asking for critiques. Otherwise, it a rather good start......

Twisted Vertex
Ok, I don't understand what is so difficult on UVW mapping a saber. All you do is assign that elemten, or mesh section a modifier, then unwrap it. The planar selection with the uvw modifier basically does all the work for you. trowa500
its the unrapping that kills me i can give it to anyone willing to help it is in gmax
Twisted Vertex
Ok you ready casue here we go. I know in gmax you have uvw mapp modifier and unwraf modifier and includeing the MESH SELECT. Your stack should look ultimatly like this unwrap uvw mapp modifier mesh select uvwmapp modifier mesh select uvwmapp modifier mesh select simple if you sbaer has only 3 sections. Sometimes you able to use the mesh select and use the element select. Other times it doesn't work like that. It usally depends on how you made the model. Its pretty simple, after that, you either A, send the file to somehow who can export it out, or B print screen and touch everything up in photoshop.
